Implant restoration in the jaw is a blessing for patient care. With advancing age, it is unfortunately not always possible to avoid having to remove an implant again. There are many different indications for this.
This can be due to a lack of supply of replacement parts or a clinical indication that makes the explantation of the implant necessary.
With the new IMPLANT-EX forceps from ZEPF, this implant extraction can be carried out easily. The mouth of the forceps is designed in such a way that the milled grooves and the selected radius allow safe gripping of the different implant diameters.
This means that in many cases it is certainly not necesÂsary to remove the implants with trephine drills and this implant extraction can be carried out in a much more patient-friendly manner.
